◆ What is overseas safety convergence information ?
Overseas safety convergence information is data provided by standardizing and converging overseas safety-related data collected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its affiliated organizations (Korea International Cooperation Agency, Korea Foundation, Overseas Koreans Foundation, Korea-Africa Foundation).
We provide local data collected through various channels such as embassies, overseas offices, overseas volunteer groups, and overseas Korean associations, and provide them by converging open data from overseas related organizations.
To this end, we will carry out a support project to revitalize the use of public data from 2020 to 2021 and open overseas safety convergence information through the public data portal.
Considering various consumers, it is expected to be opened as file data and API, and through this, it will be possible to preemptively respond to risks such as accidents in overseas regions.

◆ How can I use it ?
Establish an overseas safety/risk level prediction system by using country/region-specific safety information and risk information among overseas safety convergence information, and through this, prepare for risk situations (disaster/disaster/infectious disease/terrorism, etc.) in each country/region. Services can be provided to inform travelers, overseas companies, and overseas Koreans of safety/dangerous situations.
In addition, it is expected that it will be able to contribute in the event of a risk/emergency such as a disaster or terrorism overseas by linking relevant data that supports real-time safety situations.
